Pardew Should Be Committed To A Mental Hospital

I thought my days of having to consider what Alan Pardew thought was a thing of the past but it seems he is still suffering delusions of grandeur!

When Pardew was sacked as manager of Crystal Palace I felt sorry for him. It wan’t because I thought he hadn’t deserved the sack, it was because I genuinely thought he had tried his best but failed at a job he was probably desperate to succeed in.

However, now the ego has surfaced twice in as many weeks to proclaim that he feels he was harshly treated. I get the impression that he thinks the teams current form would have come about had he remained in charge.

Pardew was a guest on Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday show over the weekend and stated that he felt he should have been given more time to turn things around, and wanted to use the winter transfer window to get out of trouble.

I have news for him and he won’t like it!

Who was it who had a whole sodding year to turn things around including two transfer windows? Who was it who left us without adequate cover at left back? Who was it who seemed to alienate two of our summer signings and strip them of their confidence? Who was it who bought in a backroom team, seemingly, based on who was his mates rather than who was able to do the job? Who belittled Mile Jedinak last season before stripping him of the captaincy in the summer? Who dumped club legend, Julian Speroni, for seemingly no good reason? Who gave the captaincy to Scott Dann resulting in him losing form? Who dumped on Puncheon at the cup final? Who was the main reason for Bolasie wanting to leave? Who told Zaha he did not deserve a new contract? Who said Jedinak was club captain but Cabaye is his leader on the pitch, his go to guy?

It was all Pardew yet he feels he was hard done by! He should have been sacked last summer not given £50 million to spend on players!

Back in the summer I was one of the few who thought Pardew should be given the start of the season, until November, to see if he was up to the job. He got until December but showed he wasn’t up to it.

I have to hold my hands up and say I was wrong. Pardew should have gone last summer, the guy is a Muppet and to cap it all off he in a previous interview “It’s pretty hard to get a top job when you’ve been sacked by a club like Crystal Palace!”

Boo-fucking-hoo. I defended Pardew all through the spring last year but he is showing now that he has a few screw loose.

He truly has delusions of grandeur if he thinks he could have got the players that Big Sam got, turned the players into winners again and coached the players into improving.

What a complete Berkshire hunt!
