OFFICIAL: Crystal Palace’s Home Kit For The 2017/18 Season

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has revealed the clubs new home kit on Twitter and Instagram ahead of the club’s final game at Manchester United.

The Eagles, who clinched Premier League survival last weekend with a 4-0 victory against Hull City last weekend, have unveiled the new shirts to be worn during the club’s fifth consecutive season in the top flight.

It sees a return to the Eagles more traditional home strip, with red and blue stripes very similar to the 2014/15 home top when the club was sponsored by Neteller.

The 5 London borough names

While I am fairly unmoved by the imagination put in to designing the new home top it does come with one nice touch.

The home kit features the names of the five boroughs at the heart of south London, who are Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark, on the back of the shirt.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish added that the club is “incredibly proud” of its south London roots and wanted to celebrate this in the new design.

At the time of writing there was no information on the away kit for next season.
